"Bast" remix arrangement is finished, moving on...

The new dance remix arrangement of "Bast" is completed. I was going to lay down vocals for it on Sunday, but I had an allergy drainage day, so I decided it was best to wait until my voice cleared up.

Sooo... I moved on to the title track "Circle of Power". I had originally composed this song for a film festival as the underscoring for a short film about Witchcraft several years ago, and I am now re-recording it.

I actually got a bunch of work done on it Sunday. So the arrangement for that is almost done as well! :)

We continued filming the video for "Listen to the Wind" this past weekend, despite the cold 50 degree weather we were having. ;)

Filming Begins!

I'd like to say Hello to all my long time friends & fans, and Merry Meet to my new ones. I know that some of you have been waiting for YEARS for me to record my next CD, and put new music out. That wait is about to come to an end!

I am almost ready to lay down vocals on my 1st Dance song for the new album, which is a Re-Mix of "Bast". It is PUMPIN', and I'm getting anxious to get the vocals laid down. There are several other songs that already have rough recording starts, and I have a large 3-ring binder literally FULL of new songs that I have written over the years... so get ready for the explosion of creativity that is already coming your way! :)

Like this: Today, my cast, crew, & I begin filming my 1st Music Video! It will be for "Listen to the Wind" from my 1st CD. We will be meeting for lunch, going over scenes one last time, before going out to the shoot location.

We have 2 music videos planned, and a 3rd that will involve fan participation!

I will keep you all updated on the progress on the blog here. I may even post some sneak peaks of this 1st video in the near future, before it is actually released, so be sure to check back often.

My First Post

Well, I finally delved into the world of Blogs. I have been thinking about it for some time, and now I've made the plunge.

I envision this Blog to serve as a vehicle to update my fans on what's going on in my head, and what's going on in my life, as well as the Recording Studio.

For those of you who don't know me yet... I recorded my 1st Pagan Tape back in 1992 entitled "Alexian: The Mother, The Magick, The Music" out of which sprang the Recording Studio (and eventually Online Retail Store) Earth Tones Studios http://www.paganmusic.com

That tape was digitally remixed to CD in 2000, and I've been trying to find time ever since to record my next CD!

I've performed around the USA at different Pagan Gatherings, including Phoenix Phyre, Autumn Meet, Mid-Atlantic Beltane Festival, and the Heartland Pagan Festival.

This next year will be interesting, as I begin to record, and start clearing out my schedule to be able to start performing around the country, and then hopefully around the world!

So stay tuned, and hold on tight! There's bound to be a few bumps in the road on the journey!
